The Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, Nikolay Mladenov, expressed his intention to visit the Supreme Religious Authority Ayatollah, Ali al-Sistani.
A statement by the Fadhila bloc "The Head of the Fadhila bloc, Ammar Tuma, met with Mladenov where they discussed the latest updates in Iraq."
"For his part, Mladenov expressed his intention to visit Ayatollah Sistani to discuss the means of settling the current crisis in Iraq," the statement concluded.
